Very much a classic 70’s funk groove going on here like P-Funk or the Ohio players. Love the bass playing and those clean guitar 16ths. Vocals just perfect for this groove.

I love the bass in this. Wow very very funky. Oh that sound of your voice sends chills. You never fail.  How a song called I Ain't happy makes me feel happy is beyond me but that what it did.

Yeah, I figured someone was bound to have commented on the Nolan/Collins/Nelson/Roye-esque bass by now. Like everyone else, I love the way it sits with the Perkie’s aquagymnastic vocal stylings and the shimmery backing vocals.
That’s right- I liked her voice enough on this one that I felt compelled to invent a word.

as i said on soundclick - you're amazing vox, the lyrics and the music here - are quitessentially yours - not taking anything from your brilliance lekatompessy. you both have some beautiful parts here.
